Fair Trade in the Tea Industry

Drink tea? Who doesn't - it's one of the world's most popular drinks. Join Fair Trade Vancouver for a fun and educational evening to learn more on the issues around Fair Trade (and non-Fair Trade) teas.

We’ll be joined by Julie from EAST Company, a local tea company, who will discuss their experiences sourcing Fair Trade teas from Asia. You'll have the opportunity to sample some of these fine teas as well. This event is (coincidentally) well-timed to celebrate Chinese New Year, so celebrate your New Year with some Fair Trade Asian tea!

This event is part of an ongoing commitment by Fair Trade Vancouver to host fun and educational events about specific Fair Trade industries.

Rhizome's kitchen and bar will also be open during the event, so feel free to save your appetite and enjoy a Fair Trade drink at the event.
